#7 ❤ The Langkawi Edit

Love Locks on the way to the Sky Bridge in Langkawi  During the long weekend for Hari Raya (Ramadan) my friends and I decided to head to Langkawi, a beautiful island in Malaysia. It's crazy how much I love sandy beaches and clear water, anything to do with nature actually! We went to places that were totally "heartworthy"! It would be absolutely unfair if I did not leave my trademark heart imprint at these gorgeous destinations.  ❤  At the top- Sky Tower-Langkawi The view after taking the Sky Cab ride across mountains and sea.  The amazing view from Tubotel , Langkawi. Woke up to this breathtaking view two days in a row and was mesmerized every single time.  Finding love in hopeless places! Right outside the 3D Arts Museum This location was a part of the Island Hopping. The amazing view at Dayang Bunting Marble Geoforest Park, Langkawi                           ...

God made weekends for a  reason. We are babies, toddlers, children, teens and then adults In the midst of all this, there are two days in a week  Just those two days when we need to get away Get away from others, from ourselves and maybe for ourselves Move away from the concrete jungles Embrace flora and fauna Do it with people you love People who make you smile, laugh and give you a reason to look forward to things! This Sunday my friends and I decided to visit the famous Coney Island in Singapore.  It felt amazing to walk through the park amongst so many plants, trees and beach areas. PERFECT SUNDAY SCENES ! That's a very little Heart ❤ amidst the water and the trees! Coney Island, Singapore, May 2017

Traveled through this iconic bridge a million times.  On foot, by train and by ferry.  Gaped at it from all directions. Marvelled at its sheer beauty. Read the story of its existence. Some images get imprinted in your minds for forever. This is definitely one of them. Harbour Bridge,  Opposite the  Sydney Opera House,  December 2016

Travel Post #5 : 10 BALINESE DELIGHTS TO STIMULATE YOUR TASTE BUDS

Bali is an Indonesian island known for its pristine beaches , beautiful temples and street food. There are a host of Indonesian delicacies that one would come across while walking along any road in this beautiful island. The food they serve in these small eateries ( “Warungs”) looks tempting and is too difficult to resist. Since the Indonesian Rupaiah runs in lakhs don’t be surprised if you are asked to pay up two lakh rupees for a simple dish. On my recent trip to Bali I ended up gorging on authentic Balinese/Indonesian cuisine ; right from street vendors to fancy hotels. The best part is they customize their non-veg dishes to suit the vegetarian palate too. Here are a few items that I devoured on the trip and absolutely loved. 1) Bakso This is a traditional Indonesian delicacy and one of the most popular ones. You will find plenty of street vendors selling Bakso along the streets of Bali. It is an eclectic mix of  tangy, spicy soup, meat balls, wontons, tofu and noodles....

Travel Post #3 : Amritsar ( Balle Balle!!! ) and Dharamshala

Went on a family holiday recently after ages. It has been our desire to visit the Golden Temple and pay our respects. DAY 1 : We took a flight an afternoon flight from Bangalore to Delhi and then another one from Delhi to Amritsar. We had an amazing lunch in the flight thanks to Jet Airways. We reached Amritsar in the evening and were welcomed with a bouquet of flowers at the Airport by the Manager and our driver from  Premium Luxury Travels . We were then driven to our residence for the next two days - The Ritz Plaza . The rooms were lavish and extremely clean. Since we reached post sunset we decided to give The Golden Temple a visit and see it in all it's shining glory. The Golden Temple is surrounded by a huge complex on all four sides. As soon as you enter the complex you are in awe of what you see. It is a beautiful glistening image of the temple structure in the middle of the water. There is extremely cool breeze blowing on all sides and the music that is play...
