Well well well Indians are suppose to be the biggest foodies you can find.And the UAE is a treat for food lovers.There is a wide variety of options to choose from for people from any continent.There is not a single type of cuisine that Dubai DOESN'T cater to. You will find atleat 10 restaurants in one street alone which include Indian,Lebanese,French and so on.There are many  cafés and  pâtisseries along every street there. Talking about the local Arab cuisine,it is lip-smacking,thoroughly delicious. My favourite dish happens to be Shawarma which is meat( preferably chicken) rolled in pita bread and then there is  Za'atar , a blend of herbs, sesame and salt best eaten with Kubus( Arabic bread). Dubai with its multiple high rise buildings is also home to several malls.All malls in Dubai have pretty much the same outlets but the expanse of the malls took me by surprise.Being an Indian the concept of a mall for me just meant a symmetrical building which houses several outlets that give provide ladies with their much required doze of retail therapy, food kiosks, few recreational activities to keep the kids busy and also the cinemas.
