Blueberry Smoothie | Mango Smoothie | Blueberry Mango Smoothie Recipe

This post for  Blueberry Mango Smoothie/  Mango Blueberry  Smoothie Recipe is from way back in 2017. This was one of my first smoothie recipes and I just thought I could and should share it with the world again.  Happy Reading Ya'll! :) So, I bought a new smoothie maker/blender from Lazada.sg and I couldn't be happier! Just eating fruits is so mainstream, blending them into a lip-smacking SMOOTHIE is THE way to go. The first time I used the Shake-n-Take Smoothie Blender , I decided to mix two of my favourite, "go-to" fruits: Mangoes and Blueberries and created a   Blueberry Mango Smoothie/  Mango Blueberry   Smoothie.  Whipping up a Blueberry Mango Smoothie/ Mango Blueberry Smoothie is quite easy and won't take up much of your time. The taste will leave you wanting more! Trust me.  Follow these steps and you will have a delicious  Blueberry Mango Smoothie/ Mango Blueberry Smoothie , ready-to-be-devoured, in a matter of mi...

Microwave Cooking- Chicken Frittata Roll

Eggs are extremely easy to experiment with. They can be cooked differently each time and it barely takes any time to whip up a dish. Eggs work as healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner option being a rich source of protein. For me personally anything egg-related post gym serves as extremely satiating and tummy-filling! This time around in my Microwave Cooking series I decided to make a Frittata loaded with chicken. Here is the recipe: Prep Time: 15 minutes (Approx.) Cook Time: 3 minutes (Approx.) Preparation Ingredients: 2 eggs Milk Salt and pepper Red and green capsicum Chicken Franks/ Sausage Chili Flakes Oregano Whole Grain wraps Maggie Chili Garlic Sauce First wash the capsicums in cold, running water. Pat them dry with a kitchen towel or you can air-dry them as well. Slice them anyway that you like them and put them aside. In the meanwhile, defrost the chicken franks, heat them for 1 minute and cut them into slices. You can mix the pieces of chicken wi...

Microwave Cooking- Spaghetti Pasta in Red Sauce (Vegetarian)

I LOVE PASTA! ( and so does my AMMA) Any shape and sauce? preferably Red Sauce or Pesto! I try to stay away from white sauce unless I have no other option or my awesome roommate makes her trademark mushroom white sauce pasta! So last night I decided to make Red Sauce Spaghetti pasta with the limited supplies that I had and of course, using the microwave (My Hero!). Here is the recipe for people like me, who don't have access to a gas stove or who are just plain lazy. Preparation Time: 15   minutes Cooking Time:  5-7 minutes Things you need: Microwave Bowl Spaghetti Pasta Salt Papa Alfredo Tomato Garlic Sauce Oregano Chilli Flakes Canned Baked Beans, Peas (or any other veggies) You cal also add sausage (if you are craving meat) Maggi Extra Hot Chilli Sauce Preparation: 1. Since I had a small, round microwave safe bowl, the long strands of Spaghetti didn't fit straight right in. I therefore had to break the spaghetti into half and put it in the bow...

Bhindi Recipe | Bhindi Fry | Bhindi Fry Recipe | Indian Recipe | Lady Finger

Okra/ Bhindi/ Ladies Finger happens to be one of my favourite green vegetables. I like devouring it in two particular forms only: The Bhindi fry made by my Amma and the other one in it's crispy, crunchy form. Yesterday, I decided to prepare the latter for a dear friend's birthday. It turned out alright-ish and was eaten as a starter and was also used as seasoning for the creamy mushroom pasta (Haha!). Here is the recipe for everyone's benefit. BHINDI FRY| BHINDI RECIPE | BHINDI FRY RECIPE |  INDIAN RECIPE Preparation Time: 15 minutes (Approx.) Cook Time: 15 minutes  (Approx.) Microwave Cooking- Veggie Omlette

As you all know, I am a die-hard fan of food and all things food related. I even have food dreams sometimes. If you are following my Insta or Snapchat stories, I've been posting a few gym gimmicks off-late. At 25, I am making a conscious effort to move towards a healthier, more fit life. Eat wholesome and healthy yet Eat yummy. (IT IS POSSIBLE!) A rigorous workout at the gym is always followed by plenty of water and a good snack.  I, unfortunately have no access to a cooking stove as of now therefore I do all my cooking in a microwave safe dish (WHAT A LIFESAVER!!!). It does get restricting at times but I manage. Last evening, I was craving egg and I had some veggies lying in the fridge that needed to be finished. So, I decided to whip up my version of a tummy-filling  Veggie Omelette .  Here is the recipe: Prep Time: 15 minutes (Approx.) Cook Time: 3 minutes (Approx.) Preparation I used Carrots and French Beans but one can use other veggies like Oni...

Microwave Cooking- Pasta

Just like retail therapy and art therapy, cooking works like therapy for me too! I unfortunately do not have access to a cooking stove at the moment and therefore have resorted to simple microwave cooking. I tried this out for the first time. Penne pasta with Ayam vegetable baked beans mixed with green beans and broccoli. It served as tasty and filling post-workout food! 🍝 #Lunchscenes #Dinnerscenes #Singapore #Singaporediaries #foodofsingapore #singaporefood #sgfoodblogger #eatbooksg #foodie #foodiegram #foodiediaries #saturdaydoneright #foodiesofsingapore #singaporefoodie #foodporn #foodgasm #lovinsingapore #ilovesg #sgfoodie #sgfoodies #sgfood #yoursingapore #bestfoodsingapore #sgfoodblogger #burpple #instafoodsg #foodinsg #visitsingapore #exploresingapore #pennepasta #italiancuisine A post shared by Anushree Tricannad (@anushreetricannad) on Jun 15, 2017 at 11:39pm PDT

Cafe Mangii - The 3 Course Meal Delight

I've realized after so much eating out that places that we just stumble upon or randomly walk into are the ones that take us by surprise and satiate our quest for good food. Cafe Mangii at Orion gave my friends and me one such amazing experience. On a rainy Diwali afternoon three of us walked into Cafe Mangii with the hope of grabbing some quick bites and getting on the move.  But instead, we saw a small thing on the table that said 2 course meal for Rs.399/- and three course meal for Rs.499/- and we stuck ourselves there. The ambiance was perfect. It was an open air environment with an amazing view of the Brigade Promenade. It was raining and breezy that afternoon and it was just a pleasure for us to sit there and dine. There was water in the premises because of the rain which needed some cleaning up. The staff was prompt and served the food quite fast. To give our lunch an amazing start we were served with a bread basket. The best part was eating the flu...

Holy Flames, Marathahalli : An Evening Well Spent

Move on from "Holy Cow" and "Holy Sh**" . Holy Flames is the new buzz in town. We all know that Bangalore is a Cosmopolitan city and people from different parts of India and the world are coming here in large numbers. In such a situation, clearly there is a lot of demand for good food and a variety of food to choose from. There is a lot of competition between existing hotels and restaurants in the market and the fight continues. Bangalore is slowly (and surely) warming up to the culture of relishing meat and veggies cooked and served on a Barbecue. Therefore, every time there is a new Barbecue place is town people get excited and run ahead to go try it. Holy Flames is one such restaurant on the Premises of the Cartier Hotel in Marathahalli,Bangalore. They have an elaborate buffet spread inclusive of a welcome drink, a cocktail/mocktail, veg starters, barbecued meat and veggies, wish grill, live chaat counter, main course and the dessert section. One can...
